January 10, 2026 — USJA Resolution 1-26 (Board Election Notice & Nominations)
The USJA Board approved a temporary bylaw amendment after required election notices under Article 7 were missed due to major changes in Board composition. The resolution directs the USJA to post immediate notice on the USJA website and open nominations for Board Director candidates to fill the remainder of the term that should have started October 15, 2025. Candidates must submit 100 wet-signature nominations from adult annual or adult sustaining life members. Nominations are due February 10, 2026, and candidate names will be posted by February 13, 2026. If the election is contested, the Board will set the election process, with the election to occur no later than May 10, 2026.
